What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit, making your experience more efficient and personalised. Paisashield uses cookies only for essential platform functionality — not for advertising.
How We Use Cookies
Our cookie commitment
Paisashield uses cookies only for essential platform functionality and security. We do NOT use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or building user profiles for third parties.
Types of Cookies We Use
Required 3.1 Essential Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the platform to function and cannot be disabled:
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| session | User authentication and session management | Until browser closes |
| csrf_token | Security — prevents cross-site request forgery | Session |
| selected_company | Remembers your active company context | 30 days |
| remember_token | Keeps you logged in when "Remember me" is checked | 365 days |
Not Used 3.2 Performance / Analytics Cookies
We currently do not use performance or analytics cookies. If we add them in the future, we will update this policy and request your explicit consent first.
Not Used 3.3 Marketing / Advertising Cookies
We do not use marketing, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. Full stop.
Third-Party Cookies
We do not allow third-party tracking cookies. Limited exceptions exist for infrastructure only:
- Email Service (Resend): May set cookies when you click email verification links through their redirect system
- CDN Providers: May set cookies for content delivery (Tailwind CSS, Font Awesome). These are infrastructure cookies, not tracking cookies.
We have no control over third-party cookies set by these providers. Refer to their privacy policies for details.
Managing Cookies
5.1 Browser Settings
Most browsers let you control cookies through settings. You can block all cookies, accept only first-party cookies, or delete cookies after each session.
Chrome
Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
Firefox
Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
Safari
Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
Edge
Settings → Cookies and site permissions
5.2 Impact of Blocking Cookies
Warning
If you block or delete essential cookies, Paisashield will not function properly. You may not be able to:
- Log in to your account
- Stay authenticated during your session
- Submit forms securely (CSRF protection)
- Remember your workspace/company selection
Flash Cookies and Local Storage
We do not use Flash cookies. We may use HTML5 local storage for:
- Caching UI preferences (e.g., table column visibility)
- Temporary storage of form data to prevent loss on accidental navigation
Local storage can be cleared through your browser's developer tools or privacy settings.
Do Not Track (DNT)
Some browsers support "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. Because we do not track users across websites, we do not respond to DNT signals in a specific way. Our essential cookies will still be used regardless of DNT settings as they are required for the platform to function.
Cookie Consent
By using Paisashield, you consent to the use of essential cookies as described in this policy. If we introduce non-essential cookies in the future, we will:
- Display a cookie consent banner
- Request explicit consent before setting non-essential cookies
- Provide clear options to accept or reject non-essential cookies
Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
